Yellowstone National Park Engagement Session: Kate + David

Don't miss this beautiful engagement session with personal and historical significance, and stunning wildlife, too. Photography by Capture Now Studios.

"Yellowstone holds a special place in our hearts, I spent a lot of time exploring during my stint in Bozeman prior to meeting David and after our engagement in December 2019, David and I made the trek down to the North entrance for him to get his first experience. We were able to see bison, elk and even wolves— the park was nearly empty and felt like we had it to ourselves.

When it came to an engagement session, we initially didn’t plan on having one since we were scheduled to be married within 6 months, but 2020 had other plans and we postponed a year which made us reconsider an engagement session with Stephanie. The more we talked, the more it made sense to go to Yellowstone— the pictures wouldn’t be just ANY pictures, they would be in a place with historical and personal significance.

We had the perfect weekend for our session— sunny and 70 in Yellowstone with very few visitors, it was like our visit in December (minus all of the snow)! The boardwalks at Mammoth were clear and we even had the local elk participate in the background of some of our photos. The day was perfect and I can’t stop obsessing how beautifully the photos capture the moment and we will have them to look back on for the rest of our lives." -Kate, the bride-to-be
