"Tyson and I met in November of 2018 in Billings, Montana. I had just moved to Billings, so for our first date Tyson gave me a tour around the city. We ended up talking and laughing for hours; it felt like we had known each other our whole lives. After our second date at Thirsty Street Brewery, Tyson told his roommate that I was “the one!” From then on, we were pretty much inseparable. Over the past couple of years, we have both started our careers, bought our first house, adopted a dog, and enjoyed exploring this beautiful state we live in! 2020 was the best year yet with us getting engaged November 24 at my parents house in Billings. We always say how lucky we are to have each other and after two years together life with one another still seems too good to be true.
Tyson proposed the day before Thanksgiving. We were going to my parent's for dinner that night. I’m a school teacher, so naturally I was wearing a T-shirt with a giant turkey on it. Tyson knew I would not enjoy being proposed to with a turkey shirt on, so he had to nonchalantly pressure me into changing! Once we got to my parents we all started talking about what we were thankful for over the past year. Tyson kept saying “pass” every time it was his turn, and then finally he decided it was time. So he stood up and started talking about our relationship and how much he loved me, thank goodness my sister recorded it because I was so excited that I can’t remember anything that he said! After that we celebrated with our friends and family. Seriously, the best day of our lives!" –Taylor, the bride-to-be
What are your wedding plans?
"We are getting married September 10, 2021, at the Hensley Creek Hangar in Columbus, Montana!"
What do you love most about one another?
"What I love most about Tyson is the way he loves me. He accepts me for exactly who I am and has never tried to change me. He’s so genuine and understanding in everything he does. It’s such a peaceful energy to be with him."
