“The first time Justin took me to his hometown in Montana I knew we’d get married there. It’s such a beautiful and special place. When we started planning in the fall of 2019, we of course had no idea the pandemic was coming. We were lucky that we never had to make any plans to cancel or postpone our wedding, but we proceeded with caution. We wanted all of our family and friends (who lived mostly out East) to head out West, enjoy Glacier, and chill out. Everyone needed a vacation. We did have guest cancellations, which we completely understood, but no matter what turnout we had, we were pumped. We knew all of our close friends and family were all in. We ended up with the best crew we could ask for of 60 loved ones.
With everyone flying in, we made it a big celebration over the whole weekend. About 30 of us went on a rafting trip with Glacier Raft Company for a pre-wedding float, we visited Glacier National Park, Flathead Lake, and enjoyed dinner and drinks around the Flathead Valley. It was so fun to hear about everyone’s trip experiences and just how much they needed this breath of fresh air after the wild year of Covid.” – Ashley, the bride
