Mountain Wedding Inspiration at The Homestead on McVey

Looking for a soft, romantic style set in the mountains? This vendor team created a timeless style showcasing the mountain scenery in Victor, Montana. Photography by Katherine Schot Photography

"I chose to feature the Bitterroot Valley, showcasing the area’s stunning mountain views. The Homestead on McVey in Victor is the perfect spot nestled between the Sapphire and Bitterroot Mountain ranges. A simple, soft color scheme with bright, timeless images capturing a joyful newlywed couple brought the vision to reality.

A picturesque mountain landscape, a warm summer evening, dreamy florals, and lace detailing on the dress all followed the concept beautifully. I envisioned a simple, timeless, mountain wedding with a pink, white, and peach color palette. The groom's attire from The Tuxedo Gallery in Missoula incorporated deep blue from the mountains. The lace dress from Velvet Bride in Missoula brought a sophisticated rustic compliment to the old barn on site. Hair and makeup styling by Allure Weddings 406 in Missoula completed the look with a classic up-do featuring flowers by Bleeding Heart Flower Farm, who also created the groom’s pocket boutonniere and fragrant bridal bouquet created from her own fields in Stevensville." –Katherine Schot Photography
