"We met in college at Oklahoma State University. I caught Ian staring at me from across the bar one night out, and I walked over and introduced myself! After graduation, Ian moved to Montana and I stayed one more semester in Oklahoma to finish my Masters degree. After I graduated in December 2019, I moved up to Montana! Ian proposed July 2019 at my family’s cabin on Hungry Jack Lake in Minnesota. We went on a hike with my cousin, her husband and my brother, and at the top of a place called Honeymoon Bluff, Ian surprised me with the proposal! We love to do lots of activities together like hiking, golf and riding horses.

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect! We had about 110 people in attendance, everyone traveled so far to be there and it was amazing. My 96 year old great grandmother traveled all the way from North Caroline to be there! The weather was great, sunny and 70 degrees. My bridesmaids and I spent the day hanging out and getting ready in the beautiful Driftside Cabin on-site at The White Raven. We had Smoky the miniature pony (he is our favorite horse of Ian’s mom's boyfriend) as our ring bearer in the ceremony! We had our ceremony at 4pm and the rest of the night was filled with good food and dancing! We ended with a sparkler send off and spent the rest of our night in the CliffSide honeymoon cabin on-site at The White Raven. The day turned out better than we could have ever imagined!" –Addie, the bride
