Modern Missoula Wedding At The White Raven | Torry + Ethan

"We met on my birthday at the James Bar in Missoula, Montana, through mutual friends. We quickly bonded over the enjoyment of being outdoors – mostly fly-fishing and watching sports. Ethan is a bit more reserved and quiet while I'm more outgoing; we make a good balance. We love to travel, hang with our dog, and spend the fall, spring and summer fly-fishing (mostly in Missoula) but all around Montana!

Ethan proposed while we were on an overnight fishing trip on the Blackfoot river! No people, no cell service. Just Ethan, me, and Clark (our English cream golden retriever). We celebrated with champagne, Moscow mules, and a campfire!

Our wedding weekend started with a welcome celebration on the deck of Finn Restaurant in Missoula, which was one of our favorite moments of the weekend. There were beautiful views, and 40 of our closest friends and family to celebrate with us!

I stayed the night before the wedding at the White Raven with my bridesmaids and had a party with my crew – drinking champagne, listening to music, and getting ready for the big day. The day's motto: "Chic as Shit." Ethan arrived later with his groomsmen. The first time we saw each other was the first look – with Clark of course!

The ceremony was short and sweet. My bridesmaid, McCall, was the person who introduced us, and she was our officiant! The style was a very modern, chic, simple look, with beautiful white roses and baby's breath. We had a signature shot, "lemon drop," and I did a hair makeup change for the reception! Our champagne tower was super fun, and we shut down the dance floor with lots and lots of dancing! We had a late night snack of Jimmy John's sandwiches (mine and Ethan's favorite), and we held brunch at our house the day after the wedding." –Torry, the bride
