"Ryan and I went to undergrad together, but met later in New York City. It was love-at-first-sight, and we have been together ever since! Ryan proposed to me at the Coker Arboretum on the UNC Chapel Hill campus while I was getting my MBA. Funny story, when he proposed there was actually no ring in the box. He was in the middle of a beautiful speech of how much he loved me, and in the process of him trying to propose, neither of us noticed the ring fly out of the box. As he was speaking, I had to interrupt his speech to alert him. He suddenly turned ghost white and the proposal ended with both of us rustling through the grass looking for the ring. We eventually found the ring, and it is a hilarious moment we will never forget!"

"Ryan and I visited Glacier National Park at the very end of the season, in 2021, as I had always wanted to go stargazing. We both fell in love with Montana and its beauty instantly, and found ourselves sitting in the Apgar Amphitheater after a day of hiking, deciding to stay and watch the sunset over Lake McDonald. We ended up lingering past sunset, and we had to be the last two people in the park when Ryan pulled out his phone and began playing my favorite song, asking me to dance with him under the stars. From that moment on, we both knew we wanted to spend our lives together, so, naturally, we had to get married at Apgar Amphitheater overlooking Lake McDonald in October." -Kathleen, the bride
