Gorgeous Fall Wedding In Red Lodge | Sarah + Mark

"Mark and I met in high school! We were both in FFA (Future Farmers of America), he was from a small school in the eastern part of the state, and I was from an even smaller school in the south central part! It was the last night of our “Ag days” conference, and I saw Mark across the dance floor and knew I wanted to dance with him! Mark had his number on a piece of paper and gave it too me after the dance! Living so far apart, we both went our separate ways for college, but eventually reconnected! We were long distance for the first few years of our relationship, but soon lived in the same town, his hometown! Mark and I had been together for 5 years before he proposed. Mark asked me in the best way I could ever imagine! On November 21, we went to lunch with my dad, then went to my Aunt and Uncle's home, to visit, like we did most times we were home. While we were visiting, Mark got down on one knee, just my Aunt, Uncle, and Dad were there, and asked me to be his wife! I always dreamed of having my Uncle and my Dad walk me down the aisle, unfortunately my Uncle was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2018. About a month after we were engaged, my Uncle had passed. I was so grateful that Mark included him on that special day in our lives!

Our wedding day was the most amazing day we could have asked for! We chose to not see each other or talk until our first look. Both the guys and girls got ready on site, just at two different locations, which was easy renting the Barn at the Venue! Once Elsa and Molly arrived I could not help but get even more excited! Working with them made all of our wedding dreams come true! We had so much fun and laughter during our first look, It felt like we were hanging out with our long lost best friends! All of the photos and video shots were a breeze! When we were able to look inside the barn, see our head table, see everything come together, we were speechless! It was so beautiful, We couldn’t believe it was our wedding! Crystal went above and beyond with the design! Melissa with Top Notch, blew me away with the floral arrangements, food, and desserts! All of the amazing women at Montana Wildflower, Briane and Lyndsey out did themselves! One of my favorite parts of our day was right before Mark and the Bridal party walked down the aisle, I pulled Mark aside, gave him the last hug as my fiancé and told him I couldn’t wait to marry him! Mark said his favorite part of our day was right after we said “I Do” we took 20 minutes, held each other and couldn’t stop smiling and crying because we were just so thankful for the day that God gave us, and the amazing people he brought to us, to make our dreams come true! The rest of the day was spent dancing, laughing, and celebrating with all our friends and family!" –Sarah, the bride
