"Devin and I are high school sweethearts. We met when I was in seventh grade and he was in ninth, way back in 2011. We dated ever since, throughout high school, colleges at two different universities, medical school in Kentucky, and now medical residency in Alabama. We’ve loved each other through nearly every season of life thus far – through high school proms, college formals, through celebrations of accomplishments, times of pain and grief, new jobs, new cities and new family members. If a soulmate is someone whose connection transcends time and circumstances, then Devin is undoubtedly mine, and I feel so lucky every day that I got to marry him in June."

Wedding Day

"We always knew we wanted something intimate for our wedding. Since Big Sky has become such a special place for us and my family, it felt like the perfect choice for a wedding and a memorable opportunity to share all that Montana has to offer with Devin’s family. We aimed to celebrate the day in a way that felt personal to us and where our guests could savor the incredible views, and enjoy good food and good company.

Looking back, our wedding day felt truly unreal. We married at a remote property tucked in the mountains of Big Sky, with the most breathtaking views, and had the opportunity to see bears, elk and more wildlife at our venue (thankfully none during wedding festivities!). It was a built-in adventure that kept our wedding private and personal.

My favorite moment of the day, although likely cliché, was just after the ceremony, when I got a few moments alone with Devin to really soak in the fact that we were finally married, after nearly 14 years spent together, in our favorite place with our favorite people."
