Cold Montana temperatures did not stop this day from being anything less than perfect. Photography by Montana Bride Vendor Amber Lynn Photography.
"I (Heather) am a Butte, Montana, native and was studying engineering at Montana Tech University when Burjess transferred from Canada to the same engineering program. We had small classes together, so got to know each other pretty well through school and the lively night life scene in Butte. One thing lead to another and we have happily been together for six amazing years! On year two, we got our sweet Laylah pup, and on year four we went for a hike in Philipsburg when Burj proposed at the top, and after an easy yes, we celebrated at our favorite brewery and burger joint. We have lived in Texas, Montana and Alberta in this time, and as a wedding gift to ourselves, we got another puppy named Fischer. The years we have been together have been filled with so much love and adventure, and we are so excited to have gotten to celebrate with our loved ones and now get to start this new chapter as a married couple!
Our wedding day was the most wonderful and exhausting day of my life. We got up earlier than usual, but it was well worth it. It felt like it was a solid -50 degrees outside, and we were determined to get outside with mountain backdrop photos pre-wedding. Bless our photographer Amber and videographer Cody for getting out there with us and making it all come together perfectly! The cold had definitely killed my poor flowers, but they still looked phenomenal. We got to the venue after photos and wow, was it gorgeous! It was truly a million times more beautiful that we had ever dreamed. The day was filled with love and dancing with family and friends. Everything was beyond perfect! We really had the best time in the most beautiful scenery! Montana is by far the most beautiful place on this planet. –Heather, the bride
