We fell in love with this sweet couple, their story, and these darling captures by Ellanora Photography.
"Sam and I met through mutual friends when I first moved to Montana. For a while, we were just friends, but that effortlessly turned into something more. We've been together for about four years and are each other's best friends. We compliment each other – he is the calm one, and I am the storm (haha)! Together, we are living our best lives here in the mountains in beautiful Bozeman, Montana."
What is your proposal story?
"We had a videographer reach out to us (shoutout to @films_by_em) to do a lifestyle shoot of Sam and I hiking with our pups Ronnie and June near our house. At first this was truly just a lifestyle shoot, but then Sam had a great idea to turn it into a proposal. He said it was easy because I did all the planning with the videographer and he just had to bring a ring and speech! The day came, and we hiked up, and then all of a sudden I heard my name, and I couldn't believe what was happening. I said, "YES," and I was in shock the whole way down to the car. Then he surprised me with my friends and parents who drove in from out of town. It was seriously the best night ever and I tear up every time I think about it!"
What are your wedding plans?
"We are getting married at Fox Fields in Red Lodge, Montana, this October. Our venue just built a new barn and the people are incredible! Super excited!" (@foxfieldsweddingsandevents)
What do you love most about one another?
Cayli: "The thing I love the most about Sam is that heart of his. He cares for everyone around him and is my safe place. And he's got a killer mustache." ;)
Sam: "I love how incredibly driven and honest she is, and how she is always pushing herself to be the best version of herself."
