We're in love with Betsy and Salvatore's classic yet modern look and the gorgeous setting at Glacier Park Weddings. Photography by Katy Shay Photo.
"We met on an app in the middle of Covid time when the world wasn’t fully back open yet. After bonding over messages, we decided to meet at a restaurant on a freezing January night. With it being one of the only restaurants in the city that was open at the time, we weren’t able to get a table for hours. So, we decided to walk and see if we could find something else. We ended up walking around the city for a couple of hours deep in conversation with snotty noses and an icicle beard. At the end of the night, Sal asked me for a do-over on dinner and we met again the next weekend. We have been inseparable ever since. Sal popped the question the next Christmas as we were all opening presents, surrounded by my entire family.
Our big day was exactly what we wanted. A smaller wedding where we could actually spend time together and with the people we love the most, in a peaceful and beautiful place. Our guests got to spend time in Glacier National Park and we were all able to spend time together over the entire weekend. The day of went so fast, as everyone told us it would. But it couldn’t have been better. We found small moments with each other, ate great food and danced all night. Prioritizing what was truly important to us early on, and making a commitment to not letting the small things cause anxiety on our big day was key." –Betsy, the bride
