We're in love with the classic style and beautifully soft palette of Emma and Nick's Glacier National Park elopement. Photography by Ashley Ludwig.
"Nick and I had been dating for almost 10 years. We met working at an Italian restaurant in Columbus, Ohio. On a random Wednesday in the middle of November 2020, Nick proposed in our backyard. I can honestly say I have never been so surprised in my life.
Nick and I knew we wanted to do something different for our wedding. In the summer of 2021, we left Ohio and took a huge trip out west to find our perfect elopement location. We traveled from Las Vegas, Nevada up to Whitefish, Montana. We traveled to Zion National Park, Yellowstone National Park, Ouray, Colorado, Grand Teton National Park, Bozeman, Montana, and Glacier National Park. We knew once we arrived in Montana, it was the place we wanted to get married. We spent three days hiking all over the park to find the perfect location for the day: Sun Point. Our wedding day was everything we hoped for and more. Even though it snowed the morning before, it ended up being sunny and 65 degrees. Nick and I wanted our first look to be at Sun Point, so we used walkie talkies to communicate and meet out on the cliff. We had a gorgeous, but incredibly windy, ceremony out on Sun Point. We rented a Jeep and took the top off to enjoy the scenery driving Going To The Sun Road. We ended the night having dinner with our families at Ciao Mambo and enjoying cake from Fleur Bake Shop. If you are considering eloping in beautiful Montana, here's your sign to DO IT!" –Emma, the bride
