This beautiful sunrise session in Glacier National Park had us at hello. It's hard to beat cotton candy skies and stunning mountain views. Keep scrolling for their wedding held at Apgar Amphitheater and reception at North Forty Resort. Photography by Kylie Farmer Photography.
"Cole and I first met in a beer line at a Chris Stapleton concert through a mutual friend. I had a long time boyfriend at the time and just left it at that. Fast forward three years later, and I was single and at everyone’s favorite bar in town. I noticed Cole – tall and so handsome – picking out music for the juke box. I decided to take advantage of the situation and slide right up beside him and start requesting music ... the rest is history. That’s such a cliché, but Cole and I both knew we were it for each other. We fell in love so quickly and so easily.
When Cole proposed, we had been on a 10-day road trip through Utah living in a camper van with two of our friends. It was the greatest trip I’ve ever been on. We watched shooting stars all night in Zion, hiked the most beautiful trails, spent every moment of every day together. We hit all five national parks in Utah and were wrapping up the trip at Arches National Park. We were standing under delicate arch for a photo, I turned around and Cole was down on one knee. I was so surprised. That was hands down one of the best moments in my life this far. I love him so much.
Our wedding was held in Glacier National Park, which I will say was the most beautiful landscape I have ever seen. Glacier is magical. On our wedding day, I woke at 2 a.m. for hair and make up, and we drove to the top of Logan’s Pass to be there for the sunrise. It was a dream. The sunrise that morning was this amazing pinkish purple hazy sky that I pray I never forget. You can’t help but to feel so small in the grandiosity of Glacier’s peaks. Being there in that moment with Cole, I felt so at peace. This man was going to be my husband and I, his wife. I had no doubt this is exactly where I was supposed to be.
After returning from our couple's photos, I took a nap before starting the day again, this time at 11 a.m.
Our ceremony was held at Apgar Amphitheater. Cole and I shared hand written vows with each other in front of about 50 of our close friends and family. We were married by his older brother, Chase. We then had our reception at North Forty Resort where Empress Tents & Events had everything set up for us perfectly." –Casey, the bride
